Lowco2525 submitted a new blog post One Year Streamaversary This Saturday! On May 31st, 2014, I embarked on an innocent little journey that would change my life. Beginning with the launch of Wildstar, I started streaming from the bedroom of my college apartment. Although I had just graduated, I still had one summer class to do in order to prep for what I thought was my future, being a Physician Assistant. Having discovered Twitch six months prior, my passion for gaming was reignited. I dedicated almost every second of free time to watching Twitch streams and becoming part of communities. I had made friends, familiar names I would see day in and day out. The funny thing is, I had zero plans to stream. My Twitch friends would ask me and I would always say never. I loved watching streams and being an active chatter, but I just didn’t see myself streaming. I’m not sure the exact moment I decided I would start streaming. I suppose it was because I was planning on buying a nice gaming PC and getting more into PC gaming after I graduated from university. I knew I would have a lot of downtime being stuck at an empty campus during the summertime, and I thought it would be cool to have people hang out with me while I played games. It’s because of your support, the support of every single Looney, that I’ve been able to make a hobby I fell in love with my full time job. Thank you all for watching my streams, being apart of The Looneybin community, and just being awesome people to hang out with every single day. Join us this Saturday to celebrate my one year Streamaversary! We will be doing a bunch of giveaways, listening to awesome music, and playing community games all day.
